Adah Sharma Didn’t CRY On Her Father's Death; Actress Says, ‘I Don’t Really React Very Loudly In Real Life’
Adah Sharma in a new interview has revealed why she did not cry when her father passed away!
Actor Adah Sharma is currently basking in the success of her recent release ‘The Kerala Story’ which is doing exceptionally well at the box office despite controversies. Adah, who has been busy promoting the movie, in a new interview made a shocking revelation that she is did not cry when her father passed away and also revealed the reason behind it. The actor explained that she is the kind of a person who can’t react be it any emotion, anger or extreme happiness, or sadness.
As reported by Tellychakkar, in an interview the Commando 3 actress was asked about any moment in her life when she was sitting at the corner, couldn’t understand anything and she started crying. Reflecting back, Adah recalled when her father died she was in so shock that she could not even cry. She was quoted as saying, “In real life, I am a kind of a person that if I feel any emotion, either it is extreme anger or extreme happiness or sadness, I can’t react. Even if I am really angry I don’t shout at anyone; I control that emotion and put it under the carpet. I am not saying this is healthy, this is very unhealthy, but this is how I am. Adah added, “I remember when my dad passed away, I couldn’t cry because I was so in shock. I was just tired like what we do. So, I don’t really react very loudly in real life. That’s why it is a good thing that I am an actor and I use those emotions on screen that are always kept back in real life.”
Interestingly, it’s been 15 years since Adah has been a part of the entertainment industry. In 2008, she made her Bollywood debut with the horror film ‘1920’, which proved to be a box office success. She is known for her work in films like Hasee Toh Phasee, Kshanam, Commando 2, Commando 3, and others. Her recent release The Kerala Story saw her playing the lead role of Shalini Unnikrishnan, a Hindu woman who was forcibly converted to Islam and joined the terrorist outfit ISIS.
